AFFILIATED MEMBERS
Beyond Ordinary Members, the PTCA welcomes collaborations with Tennis
Organisations, Associations and Federations who share PTCA’s ambition to foster
quality standards in the domain of professional coaching and promote the sports of
tennis at a national or international level.
PTCA is a unique platform for professional coaches in tennis, fitness and sport
medicine. The level is very ambitious and demanding in order to advocate the
standards of the tennis profession. We are though offering partner memberships
for other organizations within the tennis industry who are recognizing the goals
and visions of the PTCA. Also High Level Professional Tennis Academies under
supervision of PTCA-Gold Members are welcome to be a partner active as a base,
center or information office. The benefits for those partners are manifold. The
reputational benefit of being connected with and accepted by an organization
carried by the community of the world top coaches is many opportunities for
developing the own regional or national program and raise the quality level.
Members of affiliated and accredited academies are granted preferred conditions
for PTCA events (training courses, conferences). All affiliated and accredited
academies have to pay membership fees the level of which is set according to the
size of the organization and the type of partnership entered between PTCA and
the candidate organization.

Affiliated members can get a status as:
a) PTCA Accredited Tennis Bases
b) PTCA Accredited Tennis Centres
c) PTCA Partner Associations
d) PTCA Information Centres
Affiliated Members have to fulfil the conditions of one of the following profiles:
a. ACCREDITED TENNISBASES :
ACCREDITED TENNISBASES have to be conducted in the function of Head Coach
or President by a PTCA SILVER, GOLD or HONORY MEMBER.
Furthermore, a PTCA TENNIS BASE must provide the following services and
meet the following standards:
• Provides Training and Education camps in cooperation with the PTCA
• Has a functional network in tennis on national level
• Has at least one coaching team with at least 4 fully educated tennis
coaches
• Is an active member of a regional or national Tennis Association
• Is active for at least 5 years
• Has at least 3 indoor and 3 outdoor courts
• Shows fitness facilities
• Operates an accredited Tennis Academy for high performance players on
a junior level
• Provides adequate accommodation in hotels or pensions
• Is not further away than 2 hours from a national or international airport
• Is accessible by train
• Submits its coaches to a PTCA Training program at least once a year in
which the costs for these programs will not be borne by the PTCA
• Recognizes the PTCA and their efforts to elevate the status and the quality
of tennis coaches worldwide
• Is committed to the goals and requirements of the PTCA
• Shows a regularly updated training plan
Members of PTCA Tennis Bases can become ordinary members of the PTCA at
the same time
b. ACCREDITED PTCA TENNIS CENTRES:
ACCREDITED PTCA TENNIS CENTERS have to be conducted in the function of
Head Coach or President by a PTCA GOLD or HONORY MEMBER.
Furthermore, a PTCA TENNIS CENTRE must provide the following services and
meet the following standards:
Provides Training and Education camps in cooperation with the PTCA
Has a functional network in tennis on international level
Has at least one coaching team with at least 5 fully educated tennis
coaches
Is an active member of a regional or national Tennis Association
Is active for at least 10 years
Has at least 4 indoor and 4 outdoor courts
Has fitness facilities
Operates an accredited Tennis Academy for coaching development
programs
Provides adequate accommodation in hotels or pensions
Is not further away than 1 hour from a national or international airport
Is accessible by train
Submits its coaches to a PTCA Training program at least once a year in
which the costs for these programs will not be borne by the PTCA
Recognizes the PTCA and their efforts to elevate the status and the quality
of tennis coaches worldwide
Is committed to the goals and requirements of the PTCA
Shows a regularly updated training plan
Members of PTCA Tennis Centres can also become ordinary members of the
PTCA.
c. ACCREDITED PTCA PARTNER ASSOCIATION
A PTCA PARTNER ASSOCIATION has to be connected to a PTCA TENNIS CENTER
and has to be monitored and supervised by a PTCA GOLD SENIOR or GOLD
HONORY MEMBER
Furthermore, a PTCA PARTNER ASSOCIATION must provide the following
services and meet the following standards:
Recognizes the PTCA, its statutes and organs and their efforts to elevate
the status and the quality of tennis coaches worldwide
Ensures the PTCA complete information about the activities, programs,
rules and goals of the PTCA to its members
Has a functional network in tennis on international level
Is an active partner of a regional, national or international official/private
Tennis Association
Is active for at least 10 years
Requests a substantially complete and high-quality training program
from its members
Requests its coaches to enrol for a PTCA Training program at least once a
year whereby the costs for these programs will not be borne by the PTCA
PTCA Partner Associations have to pay a Partnership fee to the PTCA that will
be charged once a year at the same time as the membership fee for Ordinary
Members
Members of PTCA Partner Associations can also become ordinary members of
the PTCA
d. ACCREDITED PTCA INFORMATION OFFICE:
A PTCA INFORMATION CENTER has to be connected to a PTCA TENNIS CENTER
and be monitored and supervised by a PTCA Vice-President.
Furthermore, a PTCA INFORMATION CENTRE must provide the following
services and meet the following standards:
Recognizes the PTCA, its statutes and organs and their efforts to elevate
the status and the quality of tennis coaches worldwide
Has a functional network in tennis on national level
Is not further away than 1 hour from a national or international airport
Is accessible by train
Submits its affiliated coaches, if applicable, to a PTCA Training program at
least once a year and for which the cost for these programs are not borne
by the PTCA.
Beyond the above categories and conditions, the Board of the PTCA can receive
affiliated members in exceptional cases and upon recommendation of the
PTCA Advisory Board if the achievements and the potential of such an affiliated
member are of a particular importance to the PTCA and its future.
